# Allocation Lab — reusable build prompt

Build a beautiful, modern, responsive browser application for educational ETF allocation and hypothetical future-value exploration. Make the home screen an interactive financial workbench, with a navy navigation rail, bright canvas, refined typography, a large blue growth chart, and clear editable controls. Use reviewed GitHub design skills such as anthropics/skills/frontend-design.

Start with an editable example: 30% VOO, 20% SMH, 20% QQQM, 20% BND, 10% cash. Treat this as an example, not advice. Allow adding/removing investments, adjusting weights and annual total-return assumptions, and normalizing to 100%. Require valid 100% allocation before simulating.

Let users set starting balance, monthly contributions, contribution increases, horizon, current age, future dollar goal and inflation. Support importing a screenshot with in-browser OCR, selection of detected dollar amounts, and explicit balance confirmation. Provide a manual fallback. Never silently select an amount or store the screenshot.

Recalculate the chart and totals immediately. Use effective annual-to-monthly rates, monthly rebalancing and end-of-month deposits. Show total contributions, growth, blended annual return, nominal and inflation-adjusted dollars, and time to dollar milestones. Add clearly labeled lower/higher assumption scenarios, not probability bands, and an optional stress drop. Explain formulas and exclusions; do not imply forecasts or guaranteed returns.

Gamify consistency through goal milestones and saved scenario comparisons, never by encouraging maximum risk. Persist inputs and named scenarios locally, support loading and deleting them, and export projections to CSV.

Add accessible life-stage learning tabs for 18–34, 35–49, 50–64 and 65+. Explain foundations and long-horizon growth early, goals and diversification through middle age, and stability, liquidity and withdrawal planning later. Age alone is not an allocation rule. Link authoritative Investor.gov educational sources. Clearly disclose that the model does not calculate retirement withdrawals, taxes, fees, real market data or probabilistic outcomes.

Verify zero-return mathematics, contributions, compounding, invalid allocations, inflation adjustments, stress-event timing, scenario persistence, screenshot confirmation, keyboard controls and responsive layouts. Keep the code simple and the full source available locally.

# Morrowmix upgrade

Brand the product Morrowmix, an ETF portfolio studio with ocean ink, teal, mist and soft gold. Provide SVG logo, favicon, share banner and downloadable brand kit. Add five constrained research presets, exclude VTI, publish actual-fund backtests separately from conditional future simulations, and preserve user starting inputs when applying a mix. Include holdings-overlap limitations, retrospective training/later-period diagnostics, transparent candidate objectives and an annual-rebalanced joint block-bootstrap simulator. Do not advertise universal optimality or expose personal handoff information.
